Award-winning Colorado-based band, Finnders and Youngberg will be the featured teachers for the 2013 Bluegrass Camp for Kids to be held in Buffalo WY July 10th – 12th, 2013, at the Johnson County Fairgrounds.
This will be the third year the popular daycamp will be hosted in N.E. Wyoming for youth ages 9 – 18. Instruction in guitar, bass, fiddle, mandolin, and banjo - as well as folk dance and songwriting- is offered for all ability levels, from Novice to Experienced. The camp is limited to 35 students, to maintain a ratio of no more than 7 students to one teacher.
Participants also explore playing and learn to jam with their age-level band, and perform on the Main Stage of the Big Horn Mountain Festival on opening day, Friday July 12th, at 3 p.m.
The fee for the camp is $180.00 per child. Scholarships are available for eligible Johnson County residents.
